5R Motors (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. Is one of the key enterprises of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd., with specific responsibility for overseas markets. The group has established the joint ventures with several top-ranking enterprises in the world. In the field of motor, the group holds independent research and development department. On the basis of introducing Honda's technology, it also cooperated with Italian GIUGIARO Design Company and Tianjin Internal-combustion Engine Research Institute and opened up several new types of motors with our own intellectual property right. Furthermore, the group owns many assembly lines and production lines for engines and whole motors, which consist of many imported accurate processing centers, and are equipped with advanced inspection instrument. Major products are large and medium-sized (7.9-12 meters) series buses. The bus company was listed on the HongKong Stock Exchange on Feb. 22, 1993, and it was chosen as the first twenty places in the bus enterprises in China by China Machinery Enterprise Management Association in 2004.
